First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn a little about who we are.

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re considering remodeling your home, building an addition, or creating a space that better fits the way your family lives. Those are exciting decisions—but they can also feel overwhelming. My hope is that by sharing a little about who we are and how we approach every project, you’ll have a better understanding of whether Pure Design Build Remodel is the right partner for you.

My wife, DeAnna, and I founded PureDBR more than a decade ago with one simple goal: to create a company that puts people first.

While Pure has proudly served homeowners throughout the Treasure Valley for over ten years, I’ve personally been involved in the design-build and remodeling industry for more than 24 years. Throughout that time, one thing has remained constant: every successful project begins with listening.

At Pure, we are a full-service design-build-remodel firm. That means everything—from the initial vision and design process to construction and the final walkthrough—is managed by one cohesive team working toward a common goal. Rather than coordinating multiple companies and trying to keep everyone on the same page, our clients have a single team that is accountable from start to finish.

Our in-house design department is led by my wife, DeAnna Mundy. She has an incredible ability to take a client’s inspiration, ideas, lifestyle, and functional needs and transform them into thoughtful, beautiful spaces that truly feel like home.

On the construction side, I lead our production team alongside dedicated project managers and experienced on-site superintendents. Every project is assigned its own superintendent and project management support to ensure communication, quality control, scheduling, and craftsmanship remain our highest priorities throughout construction.

One of the questions we’re often asked is, “Why don’t you have a much larger team?”

The answer is simple.

We’ve intentionally chosen to remain lean.

Growth has never been our primary objective. Excellence has.

By maintaining a focused team, we’re able to stay personally involved in every project, maintain the level of craftsmanship we’re known for, communicate directly with our clients, and ensure every home receives the attention it deserves. Our clients aren’t passed from department to department or treated like another project number. They receive a personalized experience from people who genuinely care about the outcome.

One of my favorite parts of every project is the initial site visit.

More often than not, DeAnna and I visit your home together. We spend time getting to know you, understanding how your family lives, listening to what frustrates you about your current space, and learning what inspires you. Whether you’ve collected Pinterest photos, magazine clippings, or simply have ideas you’ve been dreaming about for years, we want to hear them.

That first meeting isn’t about selling.

It’s about understanding.

After our visit, our team takes everything we’ve learned and develops a comprehensive project vision document. This document outlines your goals, priorities, design direction, functional needs, and the overall scope of work as we understand it.

Before we ever begin pricing your project, we sit back down together and review that document with you.

Why?

Because we believe it’s essential that everyone is completely aligned before investing time and resources into budgeting, design development, and engineering. This collaborative review allows us to make revisions, answer questions, incorporate your feedback, and refine the vision until we’re all confident we’re moving in the same direction.

Once we’ve reached that point, the document becomes the foundation for the next phase of the project. Our designers, drafting professionals, engineers, estimating team, and production staff all work from the same roadmap, ensuring everyone understands exactly what we’re building and why. This process creates better communication, more accurate budgeting, fewer surprises, and ultimately a smoother construction experience.

Our goal has always been to provide a truly turnkey experience.

From concept development and design, to budgeting, permitting, engineering, construction, project management, and the final finishing touches, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. We believe building or remodeling your home should be an exciting and rewarding experience—not a stressful one.

Whether you’re considering a kitchen remodel, a whole-home renovation, a custom addition, or simply exploring possibilities for the future, we’d be honored to earn the opportunity to meet you.

Thank you again for taking the time to get to know us. We sincerely appreciate your consideration, and we look forward to learning more about your family, your home, and your vision for the future.

If our approach resonates with you, we’d love the opportunity to schedule an initial consultation and begin exploring what’s possible.

From our family to yours, welcome to Pure Design Build Remodel.

Be Blessed,

Jon Mundy
